Lester Cox graduated from Camelback High, attended Phoenix College and ASU and then entered the Air Force. While in the service, he worked part time in a Michigan real estate office in the Air Force's civilian training program. When his tour of duty in the service ended, he returned to Arizona and became a licensed REALTOR in 1971.
Lester opened a Realty Executives satellite office in 2001 to develop his own real estate team. The Cox Team handles residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout the valley and currently consists of nine selling partners and five administrative employees, including his wife, Pat, who manages the office operations. Pat has had her real estate license since 1977. Pat has also run her own successful business and brings a lot of customer service and real estate knowledge to the team.
Lester has won the Realty Executives Chairman's Award every year from 2003 to present, which is given to the top producing agent in each franchinse. The Realty Executives Phoenix franchise consists of over 1,700 agents. "Being number one is not our goal or focus - it is simply the result of having the deeply imbedded passion for helping people in t heir real estate endeavors and providing a level of customer care far beyond expectation."
Lester has also won the R. Dale Rector award for the past 2 years and is most proud of that award as it is named after Dale Rector - founder of Realty Executives. It is the award given to the "very top executive with the Realty Executives Phoenix family that exemplifies what Dale's vision was designed to accomplish; help REALTORS to succeed and make more money." In 2005, he was ranked as the third highest producing agent among all Realty Executives agents worldwide, receiving the Top Gun Bronze Award. Cox also received the Quantum Leap award in 2003 from Craig Proctor's Coaching Program.
